Chris Morris made his debut for South Africa, albeit in an unofficial match, in the fifth Twenty20 of the Zimbabwe tri-series in Harare. Morris is one of three changes to the South African XI, as their team management looked to give the entire squad a run in this competition.
Morris replaced Lonwabo Tsotosbe, Farhaan Berhardien came in for JP Duminy and Faf du Plessis took Richard Levi's place at the top of the order. Du Plessis was expected to play the opener's role after his successful run in the fifth edition of the IPL for Chennai Super Kings.
Bangladesh made two changes to the side that beat Zimbabwe convincingly in their must-win match yesterday. The opening combination was changed to include Junaid Siddique, and Tamim Iqbal was left out. He was struggling with a quadriceps injury. Abul Hasan made way for Farhad Reza.
South Africa: 1 Hashim Amla 2 Faf du Plessis, 3 Colin Ingram, 4 Justin Ontong, 5 Dane Vilas, 6 Farhaan Behardien, 7 Albie Morkel, 8 Robin Peterson, 9 Wayne Parnell, 10 Marchant de Lange, 11 Chris Morris.
